Pay for Bail Bonds via Online Payments

Big Boyz Bail Bonds of Baltimore Maryland is proud to announce the newest and greatest addition to our Online Bail Bonds Website. We are the first and only Bail Bond agency in Maryland to feature the ability to make online payments for you and your families' bails. Paying for Bail Bonds has never been easier or more secure now that online payments have become an added feature. Big Boyz uses PayPal online payment service to process your bail payments, and does not require that you create a PayPal account to use it!

This new bail payment feature eliminates the need for you to waste gas driving down to the office to make a payment, thus reducing the Big Boyz Bail Bonds carbon footprint on our planet. It also eliminates paper by using an e-mail receipt system rather than the standard paper receipt. This will make organizing your receipts and tracking your balance a far less daunting task. Finally, it will save you money on unnecessary stamps you have used to mail checks or money orders in the past. This payment option is most convenient for clients who live out of town and can't make it to our office but have a friend of family member being detained in a Maryland Detention Center.

We hope you will both enjoy and take advantage of this new and easy-to-use payment method. In addition to providing the lowest possible rates for bails, we are constantly brainstorming new ways to make arranging bail for a loved one as painless and convenient as possible. To use this new service, simply visit our Baltimore Bail Bonds website at and click the PAY ONLINE link on the right side of the home screen.

Maryland Bounty Hunters pick up Defendant on VOP Warrant

Maryland Bail Bonds Company Big Boyz Bail Bonds was contacted recently in regards to a defendant that was bailed out of Baltimore City Jail. We were contacted by the person that signed for this bond who was nervous about the defendant not appearing for his criminal court case.

We were informed by the signer of the bond that our defendant recently got "cold-feet" when it was time for him to show up for his Violation of Probation (VOP) hearing. We were told that he dropped him off at the court house and that the defendant never made it to the court house doors and decided to go on the run.

Our signer was clearly concerned by this and figured that he would not appear for the case that we posted bail for so he did the correct thing by contacting us. Bail Bondsmen in Maryland are primarily concerned with warrants for Failure to Appear (FTA). Even though this warrant wasn't for skipping on our bond there was clear concern that he would likely miss court so we acted quickly to serve the FTA warrant for missing his VOP hearing.

Most people think a bail bondman's sole purpose in Maryland is to provide the key for potential violent criminals to hit the streets again. This is not our purpose. Our purpose is to bring defendants we bail out back to court for justice to be served by a judge. Big Boyz Bail Bonds provides a valuable service to the community at large. We make sure that if defendants fail to appear we bring them back into the rightful custody of the state.

Bounty Hunters in Baltimore City Successfully Apprehend Defendant on the Run

Recently, Baltimore City Bail Bonds Company Big Boyz Bail Bonds received a bond forfeiture notice for a defendant with a long history of Failure to Appears (FTA's). We posted 3 bonds for this defendant, a $15,000, $10,000, and $1,500 cash bond respectively. (Didn't know we could post cash bails? See our blog on our ability to post a cash required bond!)

This defendant inevitably forfeited 2 out of the 3 bonds. A representative of Big Boyz Bail Bonds made contact with the defendant to try and arrange for him to turn himself in to our custody. The wanted subject had no interest at all claiming he had already been to court on all of his cases. This statement by the defendant was of course incorrect.

So our hunt began to bring this defendant back in the custody of the Baltimore City Jail. Our hunt ended in just 1 hour time from receiving the bond forfeiture notice from the courts and after making contact with the defendant. The hunt ended in a chase on foot that spread over 10 blocks until finally the defendant was apprehended.

When Big Boyz Bail Bonds receives a bond-forfeiture notice from the courts we take it personally because we are financially liable to produce the defendants we bail out for court. If we fail to do so we must pay the full sum penalty of the bail to the courts. This is a service that the State of Maryland cannot afford to lose. Without bail agencies such as Big Boyz Bail Bonds there would be many more fugitives running the streets presenting danger to the community at large.

Many fly-by-night bail bonds companies make little to no effort at all to hunt their fugitives out on bail. Instead, they use "the system" to their advantage and hope the person eventually gets re-incarcerated on their own. This method is contrary to public safety and allows the fugitive to remain on the run for a longer than necessary amount of time. It is this very issue that gives bail bondsmen in Maryland a bad name.

Bail Bonds companies such as these need to become extinct from our industry so bail bonds companies such as Big Boyz can offer legitimate public safety service to the State of Maryland.
